Reactionary Vs Revolutionary…

A reactionary is never a revolutionary…

Reaction by definition, is always an act done in response to an external stimulus. In other words, the act of response is always the product of the external world and situations. Hence a reaction is always dependent on the action of something on the outside world…

On the other hand, a revolution is not like such. A revolution always happens as an inside experience. Of course there might be many external factors that have influenced the genesis of such revolutionary experience. But it’s expression is always INSIDE-OUT. Not OUTSIDE-IN like in the case of a reaction…

Now let us look even more clearly, personifying them…

A reactionary is a person, who suffers from inferiority complex and identity crisis. When the whole civilization, people and society are moving in one direction, he simply cannot walk with them because he is of a great fear of being considered as the ordinary. Instinctively, he urges attention and therefore cannot make himself a part of the crowd..

His aim is just to be considered as someone different. Someone special, interesting, weird and peculiar. This very attitude makes him a great reactionary towards cultures, traditions, religions, morals, ethics etc., etc., His identity crisis never allows him to obey or respect anything or anybody. He feels he is always right and the religions and civilizations are trying to change him into someone else, i.e., someone ordinary. Therefore he totally gets distant from the process of education and also from the process of MAKING OF A MAN…

Whereas, a revolutionary is a person, who has attained or arrived at an evolutionary experience of life. This is a man who has worked a lot on himself and thereby enhanced his experience of life. He also gets issues with societies, cultures, religions etc., but they are going to be for the betterment and evolution of humanity itself. He too questions a tradition or a religious practice, not out of his inferiority complex or identity crisis to follow them, but to make them even more better for the sake of the humanity..

A revolutionary’s life always strives for the betterment of human experience of life. His acts of revolution are always an outcome of his enhanced and much evolved experience of life. He will be a person who has gone through various influences and experiences of lives which ultimately makes him a servant to the humanity…

In my everyday life, I’m getting exposed to both reactionaries and revolutionaries. Unfortunately, what I’m witnessing is, looking at a revolutionary, day by day many reactionaries are getting inspired. Reactionaries are living in a delusion of, feeling themselves as revolutionaries without going through any sort of evolution in their experience of life. i.e, Reactionaries are just ending up imitating revolutionaries without attempting to look into the evolution in their hearts and souls…

So, by concluding, what I’m attempting to say is, the basic difference between a reactionary and a revolutionary is the EXPERIENCE OF LIFE…

“A well life experienced SOUL becomes a REVOLUTIONARY, and a very limited and self-identified MIND ends up a REACTIONARY…”

Thank you…!
